This Bonsai tree kit comes in its most elemental form - a hard as rock, sealed Jack Pine pinecone. Not just any Jack Pinecone... this one was picked from a majestic tree that grandpappy jack planted at the entrance to the ancestral island where the music for "Left To Our Own Devices" was written.

With the pinecone comes a box of matches, a peat puck, instructions on how to make the fiery magic happen, and a jar to plant your little tree in. Briefly: use the match to light a fire to open the pinecone to get the seed and plant it in the jar.
